Dear family, Pauline was my 7th grade Religious School teacher at Temple Solel in San Diego. I loved her as a teacher, and she made us all want to come and learn. The curriculum was ethics, and her course played a big part in learning Jewish ethics and points of view. She and Sydney moved on our street (Brunswick) in Allied Gardens, and when you were born, Stuart, I was one of your very first babysitters. (You were the first newborn that I ever babysat for.) I'm sorry to see that she had to experience disease, but please know that I remember her with great fondness and appreciation. May her memory be a blessing--she was always so very nice to me.
