My deepest sympathy for your loss, I have recently found out.
I worked at Bowest, in the Accounting Department, under Paul Linsk (I kept wanting to spell it Lynsk), in 1983. I had previously worked in the mortgage property taxes payable and was allowed to work in Accounting. I only had a limited record-keeping background, yet the tasks were simple, but they needed to be done. It was under his leadership that I took my first Accounting courses, later pursued another degree - Accounting, and then my Accounting career. He was an excellent role model, totally professional, and I never saw him enraged or in ill-regard, as I have witnessed with so many other people.
Back then technology was rapidly increasing and manual systems evolved to computer generated reports to ease many manual burdens. I had been selected to work with the Internal Auditor, and while I may have gained some insights about the changing facets of technology, no other Accounting Department could ever light a candle to Mr. Linsk's.
Again, my deepest sympathies for your loss and Bless you.
