My Uncle Paul was a family man

He loved his family as no man can

He loved his girls and Arlene his wife,

And the Grandkids added another dimension to his life

He was the glue that held us all together

Always remembering birthdays,  &  important dates forever

He loved his nieces and nephews too

They were all a fun loving crew

He liked to travel when he was well

He went on trips and would have stores to tell

Paul & Arlene were together for 60 blessed years

They laughed and cried and had some tears

Life was good for most of the time

They enjoyed each other well into their prime

Uncle Paul was a great support to my brother & me

When my father abandoned our family

We're eternally grateful for the love in his heart

He was was a true inspiration right from the start

When his health  declined, he never complained

He was brave & courageous & a good attitude he maintained

So Uncle Paul we love you- the hole you leave is deep

We have lots of sweet memories that we will surely keep

So sad you had to leave us & go to your eternal rest

But we will always love & remember you, because you were the best
