Bill was my chief at SDPD. I worked on his campaign for Sheriff with Lois and Marla Marshal. And what a wonderful experience I had being there throughout each week! While a deputy at SDSO, Bill promoted me to sergeant. I remained close friends with Bill and Lois over the years, and learned to love them and their love and loyalty for one another, their sense of humor, and their humble, caring ways towards all people they met. I never knew a man like Bill, and never knew a woman like Lois before. They were angels sent by God as a couple; and always warmed my heart. Thank you, Bill and Lois, for all the joy, love, and care you brought to our lives. Thank you both, for making all of us feel special and needed.....and thank you both, for loving me...........
