I met Irv z"l via Chinese Snuff Bottles. He didn't talk a lot - he left that mainly to Agatha z"l, and I only learned a lot of his life story from the obituary here. I did know he'd been in the US Armed Forces during WWII, and then joined 'Machal' here in Israel, and met and married Agatha, again here in Israel. He helped me immensely when I came to San Diego for eye surgery in 1990. May his memory be blessed.
