Martha Jonas was born in Cologne, Germany on December 12, 1920. After time in The Netherlands during World War II, she came to the US in 1948. She moved to her beloved San Francisco in 1950. Martha retired from Bank of America to enjoy traveling.
Martha is survived by her daughter Vivian, son-in-law Michael Taggart, granddaughters Jacquie Taggart and Samantha Stone and her great-granddaughter Mackenzie Taylor. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Amsel.
Services will be held at Salem Memorial Park, (1299 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014. Tel 650-755-4700) on Sunday, August 5 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Lightbridge Hospice 6155 Cornerstone Court East #220, San Diego, CA 92121.
