Condolence: I am still in disbelief of this incredible loss. I am so glad I had a chance to know you, even if it was just a little bit and for a little while. Your life was amazing to watch as you grew into the woman you became - I will remember you! ♥

Condolence: Erin started our Mental Health & Wellness Advisory Board here at MCAS Cherry Point in 2011 and it continues to this day. I'm so saddened to hear of her passing but please know she surely made a difference for the Sailors, Marines and staff here aboard the base and at the Naval Health Clinic. She saw a need and brought us together as a team which isn't easy with so many different entities aboard the base. An energetic force, she could move mountains! MY deepest sympathy for your loss.

Condolence: How quickly a vibrant life can be gone. She was such a gift for us all. I never imagined this. I am only glad I got to know her and that she lived life to the fullest while it was hers, and ours. I'll never forget being with her the morning of 9/11, sharing that shock and disbelief, not dissimilar from my current feelings about her passing.

Condolence: Erin volunteered to co-lead the Painting a Moving Train program with me back in 2008 when our mutual friend and colleague, Cmdr. Charles Keith Springle, deployed to Iraq. The purpose of our program was to teach community medical and mental health providers something useful about military culture and about the possible effects of deployment stress on Service Members, Veterans and their families. Keith was killed in Iraq in May 2009 and Erin took up the cause for the next several years. Together with Bob Goodale of the Citizen Soldier Support Program, we gave countless presentations across North Carolina and around the country. Over time, our training has been taken by well over 30,000 clinicians. It was characteristic of Erin that she shared her life and her professional knowledge and skills with others in ways that enriched them and their families. She has made a tremendous difference in the lives of others. I learned so much from her and I hope to keep spreading her message. I was proud to have her as my friend.

Condolence: Erin- We were family somehow, in a way that only made sense to our intimate intertwined group, bound by love and soul, not by blood. I remember that day we were at some celebration, dancing on the dance floor in a small group, having fun and loving life. As you grew older it was apparent that you had such a love for life it was infectious! I remember meeting Jesse for the first time and the glow that surrounded you both told us all you were soulmates. I was so inspired by that I will never forget it. Your candle has gone out way before it's time! I love you.

Condolence: Oh, Erin, I am so sorry. No words can bring you back. You died way too soon. I always considered you a friend and I will miss you greatly. My only regret is not having spent more time with you in Okinawa when I had the chance. My condolences to everyone who is touched by her loss. She was a caring friend and I will never forget her.

Condolence: I met Erin at my first duty station in Cherry Point. I'm not sure that the English language has words for what you must be going through or how to convey my feelings to you as we grieve with you. My heart goes out to you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I am so deeply saddened to hear of Erin’s passing and send my sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to her family. I first met Erin at command indoc when we both reported to NMCSD. We then were in the same working group in the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt class. She was very devoted to her practice and her patients, and when she had to make a presentation to the executive leadership, that passion was so apparent! She always put a smile on my face. God bless you all during this most difficult time.
