It was by chance that Norman and I met. He was visiting the Diaspora Museum in Tel Aviv and discovered that I had placed our family tree in their archives. He immediately wrote to me to see how we were related. We had several meetings in San Diego where we collaborated on our common ancestry and shared family stories. I flew out the week before his 100th and he showed me the newspaper article touting his sharp mind and positive outlook. When I could not open the article on my laptop he said, "Don't worry, I'll make it into a PDF!!!" That was Norman. He was not afraid to learn new things. I am deeply saddened that my amazing cousin is gone. I will continue telling his story to my grandchildren so he will remain a part of our legacy. Norman will always be my blessing and inspiration and will forever be missed. My sympathies to his sons and their families.
