Edith Schwartz

I first met Rochelle around 1975 at an ORT meeting at Ceal Becker's house in San Diego. We stayed in touch throughout all these years. I remember Rochelle worked part-time at Walker Scott department store, McKesson, and Long's (that became CVS). She said CVS never treated employees as well as Long's did. She also once gave me about 20 pairs of sunglasses, that probably came from Long's. I didn't have to buy another pair of sunglasses for a "long, long time" :) Rochelle came to Alvarado Hospital and visited when my husband, George, had triple-bypass heart surgery in the 1970s. When Norman was placed in the ICU at Seacrest Village, Rochelle was constantly by his side up to the end. She was a good friend and I will miss her very much...
