Condolences

Condolence From: antoinette goodbody
Condolence: On the day I die, don’t say she’s gone/he’s gone. On the day I die, don’t say she’s gone/he’s gone. Death has nothing to do with going away. The sun sets, and the moon sets, but they are not gone. Death is a coming together. The human seed goes down into the ground like a bucket, and comes up with some unimagined beauty. Your mouth closes here and immediately opens with a shout of joy there. Blessings to all– A wonderful Rumi poem i think Ellen and you Jim would love antoinette

Condolence: I had a wonderful chance to work with Ellen several years ago, and she was a great colleague and a bright light for me and our students. I am deeply sorry for what has happened: my thoughts are with you and yours. Kirin Farquar

Condolence: Jim, all my thoughts are with you on Ellen's passing. She was always one of the loveliest, most engaging people to speak with. I'll always remember her for her kind spirit over the years, and in particular a memorable talk I had with her at a Dept. party at Qais Sako's house several years ago, which is the last time I spoke with her (and you). Hugs, condolences, and good thoughts to you, Jim.
