We were very sorry to hear about John’s passing. I have known John through skiing for about 30 years. I believe that is about the right amount of time because Claudio recently sent me a newspaper clipping from the early 90’s with a picture of John, me, Claudio, Bill, Ned Dolan, Gene Timmons and a few others. It was fun to see and brought back good memories. I always looked forward to seeing John each day when I was out skiing as he was always positive, upbeat and a pleasure to be around. He worked hard to achieve his ski racing success and I always liked that. We have already been missing John as he has not been out for the last two seasons. I also appreciate what you guys have done in your support for the US ski team and the Masters. It is generally acknowledged that yours and Johns support is why the Masters are still in business and why Karen even puts up with us. I know you have both been very supportive of many different charities, but the Masters support has directly affected me and the quality of my life. Thanks’ to you and John for all you have done. And, our prayers go out to you in this very difficult time.
