I was a former [retired] co-teacher at LAUSD. Karen and I were friends at this location. We shared amusing stories about our lives... and shared many laughs also. I so admired her bilingual brilliance and spirit. Though we lost contact when I was transferred I considered her a dear and decent person. My condolences to her family. RIP forever.
