Condolences

Condolence From: Alison Casciano
Condolence: To you, Arnold, and your family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Charlotte's passing--I will miss her friendly smile and laugh, miss seeing the two of you swimming your laps at the pool in such a dedicated fashion. She was certainly a beautiful lady inside and out...always offering me encouraging words when I went back to school for nursing, always greeting me with warmth and caring. Thank you for so lovingly and respectfully retelling Charlotte's story--her many gifts, interests and talents were obvious. She will be greatly missed. Please know that Charlotte, as well as you and your family, have been in my thoughts and prayers for many months. I offer my most sincere condolences to you all. --Respectfully and lovingly, Alison

Condolence: Dear Arnold, Cheryl, Elliot and Family,

We send you our deepest condolences on Charlotte's passing (which we just learned about).

We were very moved, Cheryl and Elliot, by your beautiful eulogies about your mother. You brought back, for us, some of the highlights of her life, and of the years we all spent in West Lafayette, at Sons of Abraham Synagogue and Sisterhood (at holidays, meetings, and yuntives), at Hadassah functions, and at the neighborhood and Purdue University events. Charlotte was always a leader who took charge, but with a soft voice. She was the first among our cohort to master the computer. Charlotte and I were "pals." For exercise, we walked and talked. And whenever I took ill,
she would call to cheer me up. We remember Charlotte with love and appreciation.

Condolence: Dear Uncle Arnold and Family,

I'm so sorry about Aunt Charlotte's passing. My heart goes out to you and your family. I always enjoyed seeing you guys when you'd come to NY for origami conventions, going to lunch, or the MET with Charlotte and my mom. Her smile was as big as her heart, and love of life. She will be missed!

Love,
Leslie, Gary and Hailey

Condolence: Dear Arnold,
Howie and I can't begin to tell you how saddened we were to hear of Charlotte's passing. Arnold, the eulogies you, Eliot and Cheryl gave at the funeral gave us insight as to the kind of life Charlotte led and the kind of person she was. She was caring, intelligent, truly remarkable in so many ways, and modest - A REAL LADY! We loved all the pictures you posted on line. You have a beautiful family and her passing is indeed a great loss to all of you as well as all who were fortunate to have known her. Deepest condolences to you and your family.
